Meet The Owner
I'm Dan Weaver, an Enrolled Agent licensed to represent businesses before the IRS. I started in construction before I ever worked in accounting. In construction, if you don't take care of your clients, you don't eat. It's that simple. The relationship matters.
When I moved into accounting, I kept expecting that same approach. Instead, I found firms where clients were case numbers and questions were interruptions. I watched business owners call in frustrated because no one would take the time to explain what was happening with their books. They weren't getting bad service because their accountant didn't know the answer. They were getting bad service because the firm didn't care enough to make them a priority.
After working at a few of those firms, I realized I couldn't fix the problem from the inside. So I started Konexus to build what I thought accounting should look like. Fewer clients. Real relationships. Answers that actually help you run your business instead of just checking a compliance box.
I earned my Enrolled Agent credential because when tax problems show up, I want the authority to handle them completely. I spent over 20 years working with small businesses because that's where the relationship matters most. You're not a Fortune 500 company with a tax department. You need someone you can call who knows your business and picks up the phone. That's what we do here.
